Weekly Market Comment – Feb 25th 2019
Financial markets are continuing their calm start to 2019. Fixed income markets remain calm as fears of a recession this year fade away and Central Bank policy remains supportive. Currency markets are showing little sign of calm despite potential stresses that could come from “Brexit” or a surprise on the trade war front. With this benign backdrop, equity markets continue to move higher, putting up their ninth week of consecutive gains.
